Introducing J Currie Life Coach Hello My Name is badge

Life Coach, Meditation Instructor, Community Leader
Author, Keynote Speaker + Int'l Travel Guru

Previously, a serial entrepreneur and business executive, I have founded and/or operated eight companies. In 2014 I left the corporate grind and set out on a five-year adventure to travel the world. In that time, I can say, I have trekked to every corner of the Earth.

My past career in the business world has merged with the new perspective those extensive travels have gifted me. I feel this allows for the ability to bridge a gap between vastly differing world views while transmitting a message that can be understood by many.

With “Be the change you hope to see in the world” as my mantra, I now look for ways to put my business acumen to use for humanity. As a Certified Oneness Coach, corporate meditation instructor, community leader, public speaker, published author and int’l travel consultant, I have built a new career centered around helping my global client base bring passion into their lives through both inner and outer exploration.

As a student of both Eastern and Western philosophical traditions, I have covered the globe in search of spiritual wisdom. My travels through 40+ countries have led me to many monasteries, ashrams and temples, meeting people and exchanging knowledge. I have synthesized this information and make it available during my one-on-one and group coaching sessions. Which can now be either in person or virtually via Zoom.

My adventure travel highlights include: driving 18,000 miles from Cape Town, South Africa to Cairo, Egypt (crossing the entire continent of Africa), hitchhiking from China to Germany, backpacking the Great Wall of China, hitchhiking across Canada, joining a SCUBA survey of sunken World War II shipwrecks in the Philippines, hitchhiking the continent of South America (South to North), climbing to Mt. Everest Basecamp (w/ the French summit team), hiking the Appalachian Trail and visiting all 50 US States.

In 2018, I launched, a non-profit global collective of local consciously-minded groups. I dream that through efforts like this we can begin to put the human back into humanity.

Additionally, I am the Author of The Frugal Nomad: A Quick-Start Guide to World Travel on a Budget, available from booksellers world-wide. More Information at:
